Please contact the church office if you or a family member is in need of a prayer shawl, hat or any other items.
A church that has a strong sense of its history will have a better sense of identity to build on for the future. Periodically, the Westchester United Methodist Church congregation should take a look back to rediscover how their church came into being, what its early ministry was like, and how it has grown and changed over the years. Such a celebration gives individual members the opportunity to join together in focusing on the church as a body of believers who have been blessed by the Lord. The Anniversary Committee's job is to plan and coordinate all the elements of the celebration.
Altar Guild is a dedicated group of men , women and children whose primary mission is to prepare and maintain our sanctuary for use by God's family. We prepare for regular Sunday worship services, celebrating communion every Sunday. We also prepare for Lent, Easter, Christmas, Baptism, wedding and funeral services, as well as other special events. Making worship meaningful for our congregation and friends is truly the Guild's privilege.
