Pastoral leadership is participation in God's work of transforming the community of faith. Spiritual guidance is instrumental in your walk with Christ. As such Westchester tries to accommodate and equip you on your journey with the things you need. Members of the Worship Team are always available.
Rev Gordon AR Edwards
Pastor
Rev. Dr. Gordon A.R. Edwards, Ph.D., Psy.D
An Adjunct Professor, Ordained MC Pastor, Certified Spiritual Director, Licensed Psychotherapist, Certified Life Coach, Mediator, & Mentor, Pastor Edwards passionate about people and leveraging soul-force on the side of the oppressed and marginalized. He is a trickster and believes nurturing the Kid in you is the best way to live. He laughs often and he loves his Church family.
Rev. Linda Douglas Smith
Small Groups Ministries & Attendance Building
Deaconess Smith leads the Sister to Sister Bible Study on Fridays and is a powerful woman of God. Caring and very approachable, she is often the first to ask you how you are doing.
Rev. Ivy Dawson

Mrs. Dawson is a true student of the faith. She recently completed her ordination to become a Pastor in the Methodist Church System. She is serious and committed to dedicating her talents to the lord.
Rev. Jaslyn Singleton
SINGLES MINISTRY & FAMILY LIFE
Rev. Jaslyn Singleton
holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Mercy College and a master’s in divinity from New York Theological Seminary. She served on various ministries in the capacity as a Youth Council Coordinator, Dance, Ministry Coordinator, Lay Servant ministries, SPRC Chair, Nurture Chair, Worship Chair, Director of Church Summer Camp, Methodist Women and Outreach ministries. She currently Leads Bible Study on Monday evenings. Her prayers are to continue serving and sharing the good news of God to all.
Rev. Sonia Jermin
Senior Adults Ministries
Rev. Jermin in her retirement still extents herself to lead the Senior Members at Westchester. In that capacity she organizes events that keeps our Seniors involved. She also leads service during Senior Sundays.
Rev. Beverly Hodges Fairweather
Children Ministry
Rev. Fairweather deals with the youth at Westchester. She is involved in programming that fosters their spiritual and educational development. When she is not beating her tambourine during the praise and worship segment, she is busy implementing activities that engage the community .
CLM Cora Doram
Certified Lay Minister
Cora Doram is a trained layperson who provides pastoral care, leads worship (preaching, but not sacraments), assists with church programs, develops ministries, and oversees small groups/outreach, often leading smaller congregations or supporting larger ones under clergy supervision. Key responsibilities include preaching, pastoral care/visitation, leadership (Bible studies, discipleship, operations), and developing new communities or outreach, working as part of a ministry team..

Prayer & Healing Ministries
Minister Benjamin is a prayer warrior.According to him, Prayer is a communication with God our heavenly Father. It is a process of constant listening and talking to God, even if we cannot see him with our physical eyes. Prayer helps us to build an authentic relationship with God. It is the most effective tool in experiencing peace and joy, even in the midst of our trials and tribulation. Prayer brings us to a state of dependency on God our father. Prayer is a free gift and there is no cost , but lots of rewards.
William Awuku
Lay Minister
Brother William is a dynamic new addition to Westchester. He preaches on occasion and always delivers a passionate moving sermon. He also serves as part of the Tech Ministry and the Methodist Men Ministry.

Dr. Denise Wright Hamilton
Lay Minister
Dr. Denise not only preaches but also leads the children's moment every Sunday during serivce. She also teachs the kids at Sunday School. She is a member of several Ministries and is passionate about connecting young people with God.

Iris Gibson
Lay Minister
Sister Gibson is dedicated to the children of our church. She teaches Sunday School every Sunday , participates in children's moment during service and preaches on sundays when called upon to do so. She enjoy praise dancing and is also a talented poet.

Lay Minister
Brother Emmanuel is a valuable part of the Ministerial Staff. He participates in every capacity he can, especially when he is called upon to preach on Sunday. He is apart of the Men's Ministry

Our volunteer staff assist in the office answering your calls and inquiries and other basic office type duties
Minister of Music
Mr. Pat Savage is our premier organist who assist every sunday during service by playing our organs. Mr Roy Gomes assist by playing the SteelPan and Brother Roland plays the drums
Sexton
Brother Cleveland Sanitise and cleans the worship space as well as the entire church building. Our Church is the house of the lord and requires just as much respect as we aim to keep it clean and welcoming.
